My journey
My name is Sébastien, and I am a French as a Foreign Language teacher, graduated from the University of Côte d’Azur with a degree in linguistics and a master’s in FLE. For nearly seven years, I have been teaching French to children, teenagers, and adults of all levels and helping them prepare for language exams (such as DELF/DALF).
For the past few years, I have been designing my own teaching materials to meet the specific needs of my students and reflect my vision of pedagogy. I create very visual grammar sheets and fun activities to facilitate language learning and maintain high motivation among my students.
Why I had chosen to be a teacher ?
As a child, I always loved giving presentations in front of my classmates and making them laugh. At ten years old, I dreamed of becoming a comedian and entertaining an entire room. My parents, who were teachers themselves, passed on their love for French (and grammar) to me, as well as the joy of sharing knowledge.
This passion for the French language and speaking in front of an audience naturally led me to become a French teacher.
